Background:

Matt grew up playing soccer in and around Elmhurst.  A knee injury ended his career and limited him to playing in pick up leagues in college and beyond.  Once his oldest son reached playing age, Matt volunteered to coach in order to spend more time with his kids.  As each year passed he became more involved in both their club and AYSO soccer teams.  All four of Matt’s kids played for him in club and AYSO soccer and has led to a love of coaching and developing players.
